It may sounds shockingly but the annual average cost for businesses that lost data or assets after breaches is £22,700. The infographic below explores what could businesses do indeed with £22,700?
The figure mentioned comes from the latest Cyber Security Breaches Survey by the Government’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport.
In a recent report published by the government’s Cyber Streetwise campaign and KPMG, SME victims disclosed that 26% were unable to grow in line with previous forecasts. Compared to stakeholders the quoted figure is just a small fraction but for SMEs, it could make a difference in fact.
Can you think of what would you spend £22,700 for?
