Household Air Pollution [INFOGRAPHIC]

It is estimated that 3.8 million die prematurely every year from household air pollution from cooking. Household air pollution is mostly created by using kerosene and solid fuels such as wood with polluting stoves, open fires and lamps.

The following infographic created by WHO describes the danger of household air pollution nowadays. To this date, the problem evolves every year. Women and children are the most at risk.

The infographic also shows the main reasons for the death based on the household air pollution including stroke, COPD, pneumonia, etc.
